EMVC12 12-channel Shutter/Valve Controller
The EMVC12 is a 12 channel digital valve/shutter/relay controller designed for switching applications such as deposition shutter/valve operation and activation of vacuum/pressure/gas line valves/relays. The loads can be powered either from an internal 24Vdc 1.5A power supply, or by switching of an externally applied power source (5-120Vdc, 5-240Vac at up to 3A), selected from a rear-panel switch.
Manual operation is via 12x 3-position switches (on/off/remote) with clear LED indication of channel status. An additional lockable switch provides for overall override into the remote position. Alternatively, full control and relay/switch monitoring is available over a parallel or serial (RS232 or RS485) interface (RS232 fitted as standard). In serial control mode, a watchdog can be set in the event of prolonged communications failure ("failed" relay status dictated by parallel wiring combination). The EMVC12-M option allows for monitoring of the status of the switched devices e.g. via microswitches.
